I know, it' s been 1 months since I have logged. In that time I have shot and finished my first short film within the VCA post grad narrative directing program. The short is called 200 Free and I'll post some images in a few days. Been building tons of new brain. Working on some VFX shots for my 'Kill Your Television' project and casted some kick ass lead roles to take you all on my short journey of insanity in a destroyed world. You're all going to enjoy the hell out of it.

Plus, been working on some ideas of helping to build 2one7 as a worldwide collective of visual artists and directors. Stay tuned for more. Things are going great here and you're all going to get to see some really cool new stuff in the coming months ahead.

Missed out on quality 4th of July celebration this year, but did celebrate until 5am a buddy getting his australian citizenship after being here for 11 years.

the Future.

Been knee deep in paperwork for my 'beauty' film called 200 Free that I am shooting on Wednesday and Thursday. Everything is coming into place and it's going to look kick ass. My buddy Graham is doing the Cinematography while a bunch of other Graduate Diploma and VCA friends help with the rest of the production. We also have a kick ass make-up effects guy named Jack Willie who's gonna make our scar. My roommates BF's dad is our lead character. He has 30 years of underwater hockey, surfing and swimming under his belt and he is going to rock!

Just to keep my mind on Kill Your Television a bit, here is my first city destruction image. Not sure if this one is going to make it in the film cause it's my first one and it's kinda the worst one compared to the newer cityscape shots I have been working on, but it still looks fun!

Some big fat jerk stole my bike seat yesterday. Gonna kick them in the face when I find them.

Lock it in!

Hey boys and girls! This is the awesome pool that I locked in for my first short film project this year. The film is going to kick ass and this location is The Beautiful Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Center's outdoor pool that lines up perfectly with the city of Melbourne! It's going to look great and all of the actors I've locked in so far are going to be great! Just wanted to let you all know how excited I am to shoot my upcoming film. Later!!

Blink is getting back together and tonight while I was listening to them on the Kevin and Bean show from KROQ I threw this little thing together. I'm such a fanboy. \\Also, uploaded a quick tutorial for using volumetric lights in Cinema 4D (like the one in this blink logo pic) to my flickr account so check it out!

KILL YOUR TELEVISION - epic short film in 7min.

Hey guys, the news broke out like a rash on facebook.. but for those of you who are not constantly watching your news feed...... I am making a short that I wrote and it's called Kill Your Television. It's about a young leader of a street gang who leads a revolution to save the kidnapped children of his city. It's going to have a bunch of gun fights and some really serious explosions. It's going to be such an epic 7 minutes of a short film that your face is going to melt right off in the theater just like in Raiders.

Well, heading to bed cause it's 3am in Melbourne right now. Gotta work out some more stuff with this helicopter shot! You are all going to love it! PS: as for finishing Forsaken, I have been hammering away at the visual effects, but it has once again moved a bit to the back burner because I need to finish Kill Your Television for my filmmaking course. I'll have you all know that Forsaken will get done one day, but still sadly goes as my side project for now.
